The purpose of a snagging report is to provide an independent, unbiased inspection of your new property and to find any potential faults that may be hidden by the developer. All aspects of the building work will be inspected – From the brick work to the roof Walls and Floors – We will check for durability, stability and leveling issues across your home. Electrical Testing – We will test the connectivity of all electrical components. Plaster and Paintwork –We will test the walls for bleeding, blistering, cissing, flaking and chalking
When is best time to get my new build inspected?
Ideally the best time to arrange a snagging inspection is between contract exchange and pre-completion which most developers are happy to comply with. An independent snagging survey can of course still be carried out post-completion providing the necessary builder’s warranty is in place.
When will I receive my report?
You will receive your report within 1-3 working days and a report will also be sent to your developer. Sample reports are available upon request.
